PSA Welcomes You!

Membership to the association is $120.00 for Individual members and $30 for Student members.
Membership includes an electronic subscription to Poultry Science.

Membership Qualifications

Active Member: Any person with a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized college or university who has a professional interest in poultry science or a person who through formal training and/or self-development has attained a responsible position in poultry science without obtaining a baccalaureate degree. An active member shall have all rights and privileges of this Association.

Student Member: Any student who is duly registered or enrolled for a degree or diploma in a recognized college, university or institution of higher education who is classified as a full-time student and who is following a curriculum in or closely related to poultry science or an allied field. Student members shall have all the rights and privileges of this Association except that undergraduate student members shall not vote or hold office.

Graduate students wishing to join PSA for the first time can now have a one-year FREE membership. Graduate students will receive electronic access to Poultry Science and a copy of the PSA Newsletter, and voting privileges, as well as the opportunity to interact with professionals from industry and academia.

Undergraduate students wishing to join PSA for the first time can now have a one-year FREE membership. Undergraduate students will receive electronic access to Poultry Science and a copy of the PSA Newsletter, as well as the opportunity to interact with professionals from industry and academia.

Professional members of PSA have contributed to the Individual Sustaining Membership program to give students the chance to take a look at PSA, first hand. Interested Students should do the following.

  • Complete a PSA membership application form (see below).
  • Obtain the signature of a sponsor.
  • Student applications without the names of PSA sponsors must submit with the application a signed letter from their Professor/Advisor indicating you are enrolled as a full time student at the University you list on the application form.
  • Indicate that you are a "New Graduate Student" or “New Undergraduate Student”
  • Send to PSA Membership Department
