For PowerPoint Presentations
All PowerPoint presentations will be loaded in advance of the beginning of each session. No presentations will be loaded while the session is in progress or between presentations. If you cannot follow these guidelines, you should plan to present without visual tools.
1) Each session room will be equipped with a laptop computer configured
with Windows 2003, Microsoft
PowerPoint 2003; an LCD projector; and with standard audio equipment.
The use of personal laptop computers
for presentations in the session rooms will not
be permitted.
2) Presenters who wish to submit their presentations in advance of the meeting may do so electronically by July 16th, 2009. Simply log into the abstract submission application at:
http://www.fass-abstracts.org/meetinginfo.asp?meetingcode=153
This
is the same application used to submit the meeting abstracts.
Select the "Login and Manage Abstracts" Link
and be sure to use the same account login information that
was created at the time of submission. If you do not recall this information,
use the “forgot
password” link on the login page. Once you are logged in, click
the "add/manage
papers" link for your abstract in
the table to go to the upload page.

3) Presenters must deliver their presentation files on CD, DVD, or USB drive/stick to the A-V Technician in the PRE-LOADING ROOM located in Room 204, Raleigh Convention Center - not the session room -- according to the schedule provided below. All media must be labeled with the following information:
a) Presenting author's name
b) Date of Presentation
c) Session Name
d) Session Room
e) Time of Presentation and Presentation Number (from program)
4) Properly labeled media must be brought to the PRE-LOADING ROOM, Room 204, Raleigh Convention Center, according to the following schedule:
Monday - Thursday AM Presentations scheduled prior to noon: Media must be delivered by 4:00 PM the prior day.
