The Diamond V Endowed Undergraduate Poultry Science Scholarship awards an undergraduate student studying poultry science a $1,250 per semester scholarship for up to four (4) semesters. Students are to be a sophomore or a junior at the time of applying.
This award is based on academic achievement and service, as well as an interest/knowledge of the role the poultry industry plays in feeding the world’s growing population. In addition, preference will be given to those who intend to pursue a graduate education in poultry science or related field.
The selected recipient must:
- Hold an active student membership with the Poultry Science Association.
- Be studying poultry science.
- Have a minimum overall GPA of 3.2.
- Be in sophomore or junior credit standing at the time of applying.
(Sophomore recipients will receive 4 semesters worth of funding; junior recipients will receive 2 semesters of funding. Funding begins the fall semester of the year after applying.)
- Be attending a United States based institution of study.
