Welcome Derek Wade, PSA's New Membership Services Manager

Derek Wade joined the Poultry Science Association on April 27, 2026, as our new Membership Services Manager. He brings 25 years of membership and database experience to the role.
Derek comes to PSA from FASS/ADSA, where he spent 25 years as Database Administrator. He managed the central membership database supporting more than 18 client societies, along with the reporting and financial processing that ran through it. Members will see his work on every renewal, recognition, and reporting cycle.
A Champaign/Urbana native, Derek brings his experience down the road to PSA's Champaign office. His work at FASS/ADSA covered the same kind of scientific membership organization rhythms PSA depends on.

Outside of work, Derek is a longtime Fighting Illini and St. Louis Cardinals fan and a craft beer enthusiast who has dabbled in homebrewing.
